Jay Cutler and Samantha Robertson are going strong three months after going public with their relationship.
Taking to his Instagram Story on Thursday, the former Pro Bowl quarterback shared a photo which showed the couple’s names written in the sand with a heart: “Sam [heart] Jay.”
Cutler and Robertson made their romance Instagram-official last September, which came three years after his divorce from Kristin Cavallari made in spring 2020.
The couple met through mutual friends in Nashville, according to The Messenger, which reported in September they had already been “dating for a while” and their kids met.
Robertson has two daughters, Sophia and River, from her previous marriage to fashion designer Juan “Trace” Ayala III.
Cutler and Cavallari share three children: sons Camden Jack, 11, and Jaxon Wyatt, 9, and a 8-year-old daughter, Saylor James.
Cutler, who was selected by the Broncos with the 11th overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft, was with Cavallari for 10 years before the “Laguna Beach” alum announced their divorce in April 2020.
During an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in August 2022, Cavallari said their relationship was “toxic” and that she had hoped Cutler gets remarried.
“I hope that he finds someone, I really do,” Cavallari said at the time. “I want him happy. My kids benefit from that, you know. So I hope that he gets remarried.”
The Uncommon James designer said she was “thankful for our time together” and doesn’t “regret anything at all,” even if their relationship was “unhealthy.”
Cutler, who spent most of his 12 NFL seasons with the Bears, met Cavallari at a Chicago preseason game in 2010 through mutual friend Giuliana Rancic, a former E! News anchor.
They dated for eight months before getting engaged and tied the knot in June 2013.
Cavallari, the former reality star, is currently single.
