This is a moment Alex Rodriguez won’t soon forget.
The former MLB star, 47, proudly supported daughter Natasha on Wednesday night, as the 18-year-old sang the national anthem ahead of the Minnesota Lynx’s 90-83 win over the Indiana Fever.
In a video captured by Bally Sports North, Rodriguez — who shares daughters Natasha and Ella, 15, with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis — can be seen filming Natasha’s performance before the crowd inside the Target Center in Minneapolis applauded.
Prior to Wednesday’s performance, Natasha — a rising freshman at the University of Michigan — sang the national anthem before a Miami Marlins-Pittsburgh Pirates game in late June.
Rodriguez shared a video of Natasha singing at LoanDepot Park in South Florida on his Instagram page last week, setting the clip to Brent Morgan’s rendition of “What Dreams Are Made Of.”
“So proud of you for following your dreams @thenatasharodriguez,” Rodriguez captioned the post.
Natasha, who intends to study musical theater at Michigan, has shared videos of her performances throughout the years on social media.
She sang the national anthem before a Marlins game last September, a moment she happily checked “off the [bucket] list!!!”
“Big thank you to the @marlins for having me tonight!” Natasha wrote on Instagram.
It’s been an exciting summer for Rodriguez’s family, as they celebrated Natasha’s high school graduation in May.
“Yesterday was bittersweet. Tashi, I can’t make time stand still, so my wish for you is to go out in the world with confidence, knowing your worth and believing in yourself. As you move on from one chapter to the next, I’m most proud of who you are as a person,” Rodriguez gushed on Instagram.
“Honest, kind, compassionate, intuitive and wise beyond your years. As your father, I’m supposed to be your role model. But for the last 18 years, you’ve been mine. Proud of you always! Love, Daddy.”
