A recent post in the Kmart Mums Australia Facebook group showed off a simple but effective way to elevate your child’s next birthday party or sleepover.
The best part is, it definitely won’t break the budget.
The mum shared, “Thank you, Kmart! This treat stand was the perfect addition to my daughter’s movie night/slumber birthday party.
“The girls thoroughly enjoyed selecting their snacks from the stand before settling in to watch a movie.
“It definitely created a wow factor, and I plan to use it again… and again.”
The Kmart Pick and Mix Treat Stand
The Kmart Pick And Mix Treat Stand, $10, features three tiers and nine pockets for snacks like lollies or chocolate.
In her accompanying photos, the mum shared the delicious set-up, in which the Pick and Mix stand took centre stage.
The tiers of the stand were filled with mini chocolate bars, lolly bags, marshmallows and pretzels, giving the party guests plenty of choice.
The shelves beneath had a variety of chips like Twisties, Burger Rings, Pretzels and Smith’s Chips, all neatly lined up.
Next to the stand was a range of mini bottles of soft drinks like Coke and Sprite, as well as popcorn boxes, perfect for movie night.
The mum also cleverly re-purposed the Kmart Art Caddys, $3, for the children to pick their treats and keep everything contained and mess-free.

The comments on the post included, “This is soooo cute!” “Great job,” and “What a fantastic idea.”
Someone else wrote: “All kids would love this. I’m sure your daughter and her friends had a blast.”
