What are you doing in my Crocs?
Crocs is reportedly set to unveil a swampy new collaboration, teaming up with everyone’s most beloved ogre, Shrek.
The “Shrek” Crocs Classic Clog is inspired by the animated character’s aesthetics, with a slime-green base to match the ogre’s skin tone.
The Croc also features a fuzzy brown adjustable heel strap referencing Shrek’s trademark vest, and Jibbitz of his ears and nose attached at the forefront. Shrek branding is also plastered onto the sides and underfoot.
Crocs has yet to officially announce its project with the DreamWorks ogre, but according to Hypebeast, it’s expected to land later this month.
Fans will allegedly be able to buy their Shrek Crocs for $60.
The Post has reached out to Crocs for confirmation of the collab and further information on the price point.
People were quick to respond to the news on Twitter with a wide range of thoughts.
“These are the ugliest shoes I ever… *add to cart*,” one person said.
“Okay, these I can Stan for,” another wrote.
“But why” someone questioned.
“if i see you in Shrek Crocs i’m calling the police,” one quipped.
The release of the new clog comes on the heels of Crocs entering the fashion sphere, most recently with the MSCHF x Crocs Big Red Boot — in yellow.
The cartoonish-looking footwear is modeled by Paris Hilton — and she posted a video of her needing assistance as she struggled to get the oversized shoe off her feet.
Meanwhile, Shrek never goes out of style.
A fifth installment of the “Shrek” franchise was green lit in April, and it will feature the original voice actors.
“We anticipate the cast coming back. Talks are starting now, and every indication that we’ve gotten is there’s tremendous enthusiasm on behalf of the actors to return,” Illumination CEO and founder Chris Meledandri told Variety at the time.
The first “Shrek” film was released in 2001, and the franchise later became a pop-culture staple and spawned several memes and iconic moments.
