Daryl Hannah’s naked butt makes ‘Splash,’ no longer censored on Disney+

Daryl Hannah’s back is back!

Comic Book Resources is reporting that Disney+ has restored Daryl Hannah’s nude derriere in the 1984 rom-com “Splash” after the streamer used CGI to cover her partially-exposed backside with fake hair.

The original version has been reinstated as part of a 4K upgrade of “Splash” — but now it’s behind the Disney+ parental lock feature, according to the outlet.

In the fairly tame scene, a nude Hannah kisses Tom Hanks before jumping into the ocean. Her long, blond hair covers most of her keister. Disney+ added more hair to its cut.

Fans of the man-meets-mermaid movie shell-ebrated the news Tuesday on Twitter.

“The world is finally healing,” one user wrote.

“Now I can rest,” wrote another.

“It’s just nice to win one,” a third posted.

The Post reached out to a Hannah rep for comment.

“Splash” made a splash at the box office, earning $69.8 million worldwide, according to BoxOfficeMojo. Comic Book Resources reports the movie joined Disney+ in 2020.

The streamer has come under fire for its censorship, editing everything from a line in “Aladdin” to Jessica Rabbit’s clothing in “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” and F-bombs in the filmed version of the musical “Hamilton.”
