Lance Bass wasn’t the only Chargers fan drawing eyeballs on “Monday Night Football.”
An animated Chargers supporter became a fixture on ESPN’s broadcast of the Chargers-Cowboys game on Monday at SoFi Stadium.
With the Chargers down 17-10 in the fourth quarter of the contest, the Los Angeles fan appeared to exhibit a flurry of different feels as quarterback Justin Herbert lined up on a fourth-and-goal.
Herbert, 25, then connected with tight end Gerald Everett for the touchdown, evening the game at 17-all.
The Chargers fan was then seen celebrating on the broadcast, with the “Monday Night Football” crew of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman providing commentary on the lively moment.
“I mean, just pure ecstasy. This Chargers fan, as the Chargers have tied it at 17,” Buck said.
Aikman then expressed: “If there’s a definition of pure ecstasy, that’s it.”
“I mean, that was intense,” Buck replied.
The Chargers’ jubilation was short-lived, however, as the Cowboys kicked a 39-yard field goal on the following drive to take a 20-17 lead.
Herbert then threw an interception with 1:29 remaining, sealing the game for Dallas.
As the final seconds ticked away in the fourth, cameras panned to the fan who looked to be in utter disbelief.
“I can play a lot better. I thought the defense came up with some big stops today. Held them when we needed them to. It’s on us as an offense,” Herbert said postgame.
The former Oregon product, who was selected sixth overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, went 22-for-37 for 227 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
Monday’s loss to the Cowboys dropped the Chargers to 2-3, with a matchup against the division-rival Chiefs looming.
