This New Jersey man is taking his search for a wife to new heights.
Mohamed Ibrahim’s marital availability is trumpeted on billboards from Times Square to Toronto.
“I promise I’m not a f–kboy,” is one of the endearing phrases posted alongside his beaming face.
“I’m tired of being a best man and not YOUR man,” another reads.
The billboards point to a website, “findmohamedawife.com,” where hopeful women can apply for a chance to go out on a date with the 30-year-old suitor.
Yes, they must fill out an eight-question application, with queries like, “What do you think you bring to a relationship?” and “What are your dealbreakers?”
The ads have been working since they went up on Oct. 7 — part of a campaign by Muzz, a Muslim dating app – as more than 1,000 wife-wannabes have submitted applications.
“I was not all prepared for this. . . . I’m not ready for it,” Ibrahim said with a laugh. “Obviously I can’t go on 1,000 dates, but I’m going to see what’s out there.”
He began seriously hunting for a soulmate about two years ago. “I was like, okay, now it’s time to find a wife,” Ibrahim told The Post.
“Like any typical New York City guy who’s been single for ‘x’ amount of years, I had a serious girlfriend about eight years ago, but from then until now, I’ve just been casually dating,” said the Harlem native, who now lives in Somerset County.
He’s tried all the dating apps, and goes on about one date a month — but the magic hasn’t happened.
“I don’t have crazy dating stories. . . . I think I’ve been blessed with just meeting normal people. It just hasn’t worked out,” he explained.
He hopes to meet a Muslim woman in her 20s or early 30s, who is “beautiful,” active and family-oriented, he said.
“I have a big family with a lot of personalities … so someone who can fit in and just feel comfortable around my four sisters, my two brothers, my mom and dad – you know, the in-laws – that’s mainly it,” said Ibrahim, who works as a client relationship manager for a Big Apple-based tech company.
His goal is to be engaged within the next two years, and then to start fathering babies soon after.
“Ideally, I want four [children] – I would love three boys, one girl,” he gushed.
