Jimmy Fallon is back on TV. The late-night host poked fun at Colorado Republican Lauren Boebert in his opening monologue Monday night, following the end of the Writers Guild of America strike.

“I am so excited to be here. I am so excited,” gushed Fallon, 49, in a clip posted to X (formerly Twitter). “Seriously. I’m more excited than a guy seeing ‘Beetlejuice’ with Lauren Boebert.”

The jab at Boebert, 36, comes mere weeks after the congresswoman and her male companion, who was later identified as Quinn Gallagher, were escorted out of a performance of “Beetlejuice: The Musical” at Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre in Denver for “unruly” behavior.

Theater employees accused the two of vaping, singing loudly, recording and causing a disturbance during the performance, reported the Denver Post.

Gallagher is a Colorado native and co-owner of Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen, which he opened with partner Pat Flannigan in April 2016, according to the Aspen Times.

Also on Monday, Fallon joked about being “more excited than a Jets fan during the first three plays of the season,” and that his dad was more interested in watching “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

While Fallon was happy to be back on the air, he was also pleased that the writers finally got the “fair deal that they deserve.” (They had been on strike since May.)

“You gotta hand it to them. Only the writers would spend all summer fighting to go back to the office,” quipped Fallon. “It took five months to reach the deal. The stalemate finally ended when the studios realized we got to end this now or it’s another three months of watching ‘Suits.’ ”

Theater employees accused the two of “vaping, singing, recording and ‘causing a disturbance’ during the performance,” reported the Denver Post.

Fallon’s return marks the first time he’s been on air since several staffers accused him of fostering a toxic work environment. According to a Rolling Stone exposé last month, 16 current and former employees accused Fallon of being “erratic” at work.

“Everybody walked on eggshells, especially showrunners,” recalled one former employee. “You never knew which Jimmy we were going to get and when he was going to throw a hissy fit. Look how many showrunners went so quickly. We know they didn’t last long.”

One employee also recalled a 2017 incident in which Fallon allegedly crossed out jokes on a piece of paper he was holding, then appeared confused.

“He couldn’t remember he had just crossed it out himself,” the employee said. “I was like, ‘Oh, my God, he [seems] drunk. He doesn’t know what he’s doing.’ ”

“Mentally, I was in the lowest place of my life. I didn’t want to live anymore. I thought about taking my own life all the time,” one former employee said.

Fallon reportedly apologized, telling staffers that he did not intend to “create that type of atmosphere for the show.”

“It’s embarrassing and I feel so bad,” he allegedly said. “Sorry if I embarrassed you and your family and friends … I feel so bad I can’t even tell you.”

The Post previously reported on Fallon’s drinking and partying getting “out of hand” in 2015, with one bartender who served him commenting, “He’s a mess.”
