Financial influencer reveals luxury Facebook hack that will save you a fortune

The best things in life are free — and here’s how to get them.

Simran Kaur, founder of @girlsthatinvest who aims to help women with financial advice, told her followers that she gets free, high-end items for free.

The 26-year-old from Australia suggested that people “join your local rich neighborhood Facebook group.”

“They’re always making posts like, ‘I have a Nespresso coffee machine & Dyson vacuum I don’t use anymore, free to a good home,’” she wrote over the video.

She added in the caption, “I once got a Nespresso coffee machine this way when I was a new grad.”

Kaur, who has been featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, no longer needs to use the life hack since she runs a seven-figure company, but wanted to let her followers in on the secret — and it certainly sparked interest.

“So do you just Facebook search “rich people group in [City Name]” or….Serious question,” one person asked.

Some users were already in the know and were more than happy to help clarify.

“It’s called a Buy Nothing group if you’re interested! You search Buy Nothing [city] and it’ll pop up. However, they typically ask you to confirm your address to ensure you live in that area,” they explained.

“Do they have a free house they’re not using anymore with marble countertops?” someone quipped.

One person even suggested another way to get freebies from rich people that doesn’t require the internet or Facebook.

“We love driving around the rich neighborhoods on trash day and see all the amazing things people “throw away,” they wrote.

Others haven’t had great luck with the trick.

“I tried that but all they did was complain about local politics,” one said.

“I’m In these groups and all I see are missing pets and complaints,” another wrote. “had to leave them because I felt so distressed constantly seeing lost and deceased pets.”
