A rude woman at an all-you-can-eat buffet should have swallowed her words instead.
A 26-year-old British influencer named Lauren Saddington was on vacation at a resort in Ölüdeniz, Turkey when she says a woman approached her and asked her if she was pregnant — even though she is not, Jam Press reported.
Saddington, who posted a video talking about the ordeal on TikTok for her 540,000 followers, said a woman randomly approached her while she was at the breakfast buffet. What happened to her next was too much for her stomach.
Saddington said she thought the woman was going to tell her that she recognized her from TikTok but the reality was much more bizarre.
“She says ‘Hasn’t your belly grown, it’s really big.’ I stood there going, ‘Oh I don’t know how to handle this,’” she began in her video, which has over a million views since being posted four days ago.
”And then she says ‘Well I just thought you were really pretty the first week I saw you and now your belly’s huge.’”
Then the woman told her: “You must be pregnant?”
Saddington explained to the woman that she wasn’t pregnant, she was merely treating herself to the resort’s delicious buffet. The woman gasped.
“There was sheer horror on my face because I didn’t know what she was getting to here,” said Saddington.
“Do you know what, I hope you are mortified because I would never even ask someone if they were pregnant if I saw a massive bump on their belly,” she added.
Saddington’s fans were equally stunned and skewered the woman in the comments section of the influencer’s video.
“Wow, this is shocking. So sorry you had to deal with that, that’s just horrific, you’re beautiful,” said one fan.
“Why would she even say that? That’s just so wrong,” said another.
“I think she must have been incredibly insecure and saw an in to tear another woman down. I’m so sorry, you’re beautiful with or without the bloat,” said a third.
