WARNING: The following contains spoilers about Hulu’s Season 2 finale Only murders in the building.
Tuesday’s only murders in the building The finale not only reveals who killed Bunny Folger, but also introduces viewers to the Hulu comedy’s next murder victim, Paul Rudd!
Unlike Sting and Amy Schumer, Hollywood’s go-to guy isn’t asked to play an enhanced version of himself. Instead he plays famed theater actor (and star of Oliver’s new play) Ben Glenroy.
A one-year time jump brings us to Opening Night. Ben walks out of his dressing room and tells Oliver about being out with his costar, which we soon learn is Charles. TV’s ex Brazos interrupts an innocuous cough spell and tells Ben about his problematic behavior. “Be smart,” he warns. “Stay away from him…. I know what you did.”
Once Charles leaves from the left side of the stage, Ben makes his mark. He starts the show, but he’s clearly sick. His knees are bent, and he can barely hold his breath. Soon, his feet fell beneath him and he spread on the floor, his mouth bleeding profusely.
Ben Glenroy… is dead!
