There’s a snake in my arm.
An Uruguayan body modification addict dubbed a “real-life demon” has divided social media after dropping nearly $6,500 to get “Satanic”-looking serpent implants in both arms.
“I enjoyed it from start to finish,” gushed Victor Hugo Peralta, 53, to Jam Press while describing his serpentine enhancements.
He and his wife Gabriela Peralta currently hold the Guinness World Record for the couple with the most body modifications, boasting 100 bodily embellishments between them, including microdermals, piercings and body implants.
Victor, a tattoo artist, began his body art pilgrimage at the ripe young age of 13 when he inked the word “f – – k” across the fingers on his left hand. Fast forward until now and nearly 95% of his body is covered in tats like a walking Sistine Chapel.
Some of his more controversial mods, which he frequently shares on Instagram, include the Devil’s “666” carved into his scalp, subcutaneous stars and $500 metal horns implanted into his skull.
Victor claims he wanted to revamp his appearance because “I see myself markedly different from other beings.”
“We are all unique pieces in the game of life and [this] makes me much more original and closer to how I want to look,” the fleshy tapestry declared. “I wasn’t inspired by other people, as unique pieces in each person are totally different with each modification.”
For his latest work of wince-worthy body art, Victor decided to go with a snake implant, in which sticks are inserted into one’s body to give the appearance of a serpent slithering under the skin.
The serial modifier reportedly dropped over $6,500 on the procedure, which lasted an hour and involved a whopping six implants.
Accompanying footage shows the marking and slicing a designated patch of Victor’s arm, before positioning the silicone implants inside. They then drain the fluid and then stitching the skin back up like a cosmetic turducken.
The clip concludes with Victor flaunting his literal “pythons,” which evoke a sorcerer’s gnarled staff or tree roots beneath concrete.
Despite the grisly-looking surgery, the implant aficionado claims that the procedure wasn’t painful.
“I didn’t suffer because I chose these voluntarily to get the final result,” Victor declared of his serpentine implants. “I enjoyed it from start to finish – it’s not comparable to the loss of a loved one.”
Many Instagram followers did not share his enthusiasm for the implants.
“Setting a bad example for the children,” one person criticized, while another wrote, “Is everything ok at home?”
But Victor doesn’t sweat the haters, claiming that it’s his body and therefore his choice.
“People react in different ways: surprise, curiosity and fear,” he claimed. “I don’t have time for [negativity], so I only receive beauty from people who accept me as I am.
The body modifying buff concluded, “My body is my decision and my life is not theirs.”
