She knew you were trouble when you walked in.
Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island home had an uninvited guest over the July 4th weekend, TMZ reported.
Police in the upscale coastal town of Westerly arrested Kimberley Meyer, 54, on one misdemeanor count of trespassing, after being summoned to the opulent beachfront mansion by Swift’s security team.
Cops revealed that Meyer had previously been warned to stay off of the premises, reportedly purchased for $17.75 million in 2013.
A source told the outlet the singer was present on the sprawling property at the time of the arrest, enjoying a short break amid her high-grossing “Eras” tour.
Swift posted a gallery of photos to her Twitter account this week, appearing to show her and a group of galpals enjoying the holiday weekend at the home.
Meyer reportedly “refused to budge” after being asked to leave by security. She was later released from custody, and must appear in court on July 14.
The “Mine” singer’s sumptuous portfolio of properties have frequently attracted random, sometimes threatening characters, most of them professing their love for Swift.
Recently, an Indiana man was arrested and charged with stalking the pop star at her Nashville, Tennessee home after weeks of threatening her, her family and her team online. He eventually threatened to bomb the premises.
Documents reported that Mitchell Taebel, 36, told Swift’s father he was his daughter’s “soulmate” and that “he is the only one that can make her secure.”
