Mike Birbiglia

Mike Birbiglia’s got stories.

The popular comedian is known for weaving narratives into his act to create moving one-man shows about marriage, fatherhood, aging and everything in between.

Now, he’s on the road either a) testing new jokes or b) refining his “Old Man And The Pool” material for its West End run in London set for late August.

All we know is the best way to find out is live.

And you can — especially if you’re in New York or New Jersey.

Birbiglia, 45, is slated to headline at Levittown, NY’s Governors Comedy Club on Saturday, July 22 and then at New Jersey’s Stress Factory on Thursday, Aug. 3 and Saturday, Aug. 5.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets to the New York and New Jersey shows was $74 before fees on Vivid Seats.

All shows are for ages 16 and up.

Mike Birbiglia’s new book “The New One: Painfully True Stories From A Reluctant Dad”

Following the success of Birbiglia’s fourth special, “The New One,” the comic actor wrote his second book featuring “Painfully true stories from a reluctant dad.”

Birbiglia, who co-authored the novel with his wife, J. Hope Stein has received rave reviews since its release.

“Hamilton” star and writer Lin Manuel Miranda praised the comic memoir saying, “Mike Birbiglia and J. Hope Stein have not only survived (parenhood), they’re making their most hilarious and truthful art yet. This book might save your best friend’s life.”
