We’re twins dating twins — and yes, we do mix up our boyfriends

They’re seeing double.

Brazilian influencer Larissa Lazzarin has confirmed for inquiring non-twin minds that she and her identical sister, Leticia Lazzarin, do indeed mix up their boyfriends, who are also twins.

“The worst part of being twins and dating twins”, reads an in-video caption.

In the TikTok, which was posted Friday and has been viewed nearly 12 million times, Larissa,19, shows her twin Leticia chatting with her boyfriend Filipe Orsato while at the gym.

“That one over there is my twin, and I’m almost certain he’s my boyfriend,” explains Larissa. “Then I get confused.”

Panning the camera to the left, Larissa then focuses on her own boyfriend, Lucas Orsato, who is working out at an arm machine.

“But when I look at the other one, I realize that he’s my boyfriend,” continued Larissa.

The influencer, who documents the various wanderings of her twin and their boyfriends on social media, joked that the boys are “too alike” and “maybe we switched and didn’t even notice.”

Several TikTok users also laughed at the confounding situation.

“I imagine the gym getting all confused when they see a couple on one side and suddenly see another on the other side,” laughed on commenter.

“Can you imagine both couples having twin children,” giggled a second user.

“I would put an identification bracelet,” suggested a third person.

The Lazzarin girls are not the first to have dated another set of twins.

Recently, a pair of identical twins in Virginia made headlines by giving birth to sons who are cousins but could genetically appear to be siblings.

Briana and Brittany Deane, 36, and their husbands Josh and Jeremy Salyers, 38, who became proud parents to Jet and Jax in 2022 have reveled in the creation of the “quaternary twins.”

“We were hoping that we would have overlapping pregnancies so that this would happen. We thought it would be really cool,” Briana said. “There’s only 300 quaternary marriages known in the history of the world.”

According to WebMD, the existence of quaternary twins is “incredibly rare” and occurs when one set of identical twins has a child with another set of identical twins.
