Whoopi Goldberg was quick to keep it real on Thursday’s episode of “The View” while addressing the fact that her name appears on a “fake list” of celebrities that took a trip to the private island of Jeffrey Epstein.

The 68-year-old EGOT winner bashed conspiracy theorists and satire websites that spread misinformation to the public one day after an avalanche of court documents related to the late convicted pedophile were released Wednesday, Jan. 3, after being sealed for years.

“Let me bring that up, the conspiracy theory folks,” Goldberg began. “I have to explain, because there was a fake list and I’m on it.”

In response, co-host Sunny Hostin jokingly asked, “So you were on the island?”

Goldberg then quickly replied “Apparently. I don’t know, they said I was on the island, and I’m like, ‘I don’t go anywhere!’ I don’t know what I’ve done to anybody,” she added, “but apparently there are a lot of these kind of sites that are satire sites, but people don’t realize that they can be harmful.”

Goldberg proceeded to attempt to clear her name and address a number of rumors that have been swirling on gossip sites.

“So let me just get my part out,” Goldberg continued. “I’ve never been kicked out of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant. I’ve never been kicked out of Guy Fieri’s restaurant. I didn’t get kicked off Bill Maher’s show. I didn’t get into a fight with Oprah [Winfrey] backstage here at ‘The View.’ It’s insane, it goes on and on and on.”

Joy Behar then interrupted Goldberg and quipped, “But are you having George Clooney‘s baby? That’s what I want to know.”

“The Color Purple” star remained focused and explained that online sites “get away with posting all sorts of garbage and they call it satire. But I’m saying this now: as we’re talking about this, people who post these things should be very careful, because once someone is cleared of your insanity, they’re gonna call their lawyer on you.”

At the end of the segment discussing misinformation in the media and the importance of being a thoughtful consumer of information, Goldberg decided to bring the discussion back to herself.

“Back to me,” she said. “Don’t believe unless I tell you about me. You’ll know if I am doing something. I’ll let you know! I have nothing to hide. I don’t care what people think. If I like doing it, I’m gonna let you know,” she said.

“But if they told you Oprah was backstage and you didn’t see Oprah on the show? It’s so insane! And you know I don’t go anywhere! Unless I tell you I went somewhere,” she said in conclusion. “Okay? Are we good?”

Dozens of names of the rich, famous and powerful — including royals, politicians, billionaires and even a magician — appear in the 40-page Epstein document, including Donald Trump, Michael Jackson, Bill Clinton and David Copperfield.
