Woman claims she married man who baby-sat her as a tot — but her story is not what it seems

This isn’t what they meant by “young love.”

A woman who goes by Samantha Gizzle and infers that she is 29 is defending her supposed marriage to her childhood baby-sitter 15 years her senior after facing backlash online.

While she claims she is “happy,” “safe” and saddened that “Gen Z is brainwashed into thinking age gaps are bad,” the nuptials are not all that they seem.

The images appear to be stolen from the internet — and one actually shows a young girl with her father.

Gizzle took to TikTok to participate in a trend set to the tune of Adele’s “When We Were Young,” the lyrics of which have prompted users to purportedly show off their long-term relationships with old photos.

However, she shocked viewers when comparing wedding photos to a snap of her and her hubby when she allegedly was just 4 years old and he was 19.

“You were the best babysitter ever,” Gizzle captioned the viral video, which has scored 3.9 million views.

But that image was lifted from a since-deleted 2012 post by a random blogger, The Post has learned.

“Nearly a decade ago I wrote a post to support a crowdfunding campaign for my dad’s film project, which included this family photo,” the blogger, whose name is being withheld at their request, told The Post in a statement, describing themselves as a “private person.”

They continued: “It is disturbing that a family photo was used in this way, and I appreciate the person who alerted me to it.”

Indeed, on Reddit, one user had claimed the marriage photos were “lifted from Google,” calling the viral video “rage bait.”

“I’m glad we could look past аge and take this new chapter in our life, together,” Gizzle wrote in her deceptive TikTok. “You make me so happy, make me smile, make me laugh, and this makes me unconditionally love you more & more.. and I hope the best for us and our future family to come.”

But viewers, some of whom seemed unaware that at least one photo was fake, were not as smitten with the lovebirds’ fable — and it wasn’t the age gap that raised eyebrows.

Instead, they found fault that “he watched her growing and waited until she turned 18 to be with her,” according to one commenter, while others called it “insane” and “sick.”

“IM SICKKK,” wrote one person.

“Omfg the way my jaw dropped that is literally so insane,” someone else commented.

“When WE were young?? YOU were you young HE was grown,” agreed one viewer, while another called her a “victim.”

Amid swift backlash and accusations that the husband had allegedly “groomed” her, the creator continued the ruse, defending her alleged marriage online in a series of TikTok videos, saying her hubby “waited until [she] turned 18.”

“I am NOT a victim,” she wrote in another clip. “For starters, I proposed to HIM.. if you look at it that way he can’t be a ‘Groomer’ if I wanted this whole thing.”

She continued: “Reminder that this is the love of my life and not like your Gen Z two-week relationships.. this is REAL LIFE, so: ITS NOT THAT SIMPLE.”

In the latest video, posted on Thursday, she bizarrely claimed that the hate had caused her to “rethink” her decision to tie the knot. However, she affirmed she is “sticking with” her choice — and flabbergasted viewers continued to voice their opinions.

“Honey, if he watched you grow up, then no this is simply not okay,” wrote one concerned user.

“I am so sorry you found out about the grooming this way, and I’m sorry this happened to you. A lifetime of manipulation is hard to hear about,” another empathized.

“YOU did absolutely nothing wrong. You should go to therapy and talk this out with professionals,” someone else advised. “To me, he is a walking red flag.”
