The hottest new couple in golf is two-time US Open champion Wyndham Clark and his girlfriend, Emily Tanner.
Clark and Tanner hard-launched their relationship during The Masters and have been going strong since, including when she was by his side when he won the US Open last month.
However, there’s hadn’t been any clear indication of when or how Clark and Tanner began dating until she addressed this question directly during a fan Q&A on her Instagram account on Wednesday morning.
When a fan asked Tanner how she and Clark met, she replied by saying, “Online/mutual friends[.] We met end of January and fell pretty fast. We’re super similar and get along so so well 🥰”.
She also added a tease that she’d tell the full story soon.
Tanner was also asked what her favorite thing about supporting Clark on tour is, and she responded, “One thing I didn’t know is that I too would get sock tan lines 😅🤦♀️,” along with a photo of her bare feet.
“But on a real note, it’s just the best feeling to be there for him, cheering him on doing what he loves,” she added.
Being with Tanner has clearly worked wonders for Clark on the golf course, as shown by his US Open victory.
