Mama knows best.
Ashley Graham, 35, is taking her mother’s advice after her awkward interview with Hugh Grant, 62, at the 2023 Oscars on Sunday.
“You know what? My mama told me to kill people with kindness, so there you go,” Graham told TMZ about the instantly viral moment at LAX on Monday morning.
“You always want the engagement, but it’s really not up to you,” the videographer remarked to the model, to which she replied, “Right — that’s right.”
While Graham did not seem to have a message for the “Notting Hill” actor, she did seem satisfied with her experience overall on the Champagne-colored carpet.
“I did have fun,” she said about her ABC hosting duties. “My feet hurt, though, but I had fun.”
The Post has contacted representatives for Graham and Grant for comment.
The duo’s interaction on Sunday started off cringy and ended with the British star seemingly rolling his eyes at Graham’s questions.
“What’s your favorite thing about being at the Oscars?” Graham asked.
“It’s fascinating,” he coldly answered after a brief pause. “The whole of humanity is here. It’s a vanity fair.”
Graham then asked “The Underdog” alum if there were any nominees he was hoping would take home an award, to which he replied: “No one in particular.”
She proceeded to inquire about what he was wearing, to which he unenthusiastically quipped: “My suit.”
Trying to keep the interview afloat, Graham even asked what it felt like to star in the Netflix flick “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.”
“I’m barely in it. I’m in it for, like, three seconds,” Grant shot back.
“But still, you showed up and had fun, right?” Graham replied.
“Almost,” he snickered as Graham wrapped up the uncomfortable chat.
Fans on social media slammed the actor for being a “total a–hole” and a “rude, arrogant d–k” during the interview.
