Six “Jeopardy!” aces will soon fight for top honors in “Jeopardy! Masters.”
Hosted by Ken Jennings, “Jeopardy! Masters” will see the return of some of the game’s winningest contestants, including Amy Schneider, Matt Amodio, Mattea Roach, Andrew He, Sam Buttrey and James Holzhauer.
The players will compete in various pairings throughout a three-week competition with 10 one-hour episodes featuring two games per episode.
A new poster for the show posted by Entertainment Tonight shows Jennings, 48, standing tall in a blue suit and maroon tie while the six masters of “Jeopardy!” stand on either side of him.
Schneider, 43, raked in $1,382,800 after her 40-game streak in Season 38. She’s the first openly transgender “Jeopardy!” super champion and ranks No. 2 on the “Jeopardy!” all-time consecutive wins list — behind only Jennings, who has 74 wins. She ultimately went on to win the Tournament of Champions in 2022. She is in fourth place for overall winnings, including tournaments, earning $1,632,800.
Amodio, 32, comes in third on the Leadership Board of Legends for both consecutive games won with a 38-game streak and the highest winnings in regular-season play. He places No. 5 on the all-time winnings list with $1,518,601.
He was a 38-day “Jeopardy!” champ before Schneider came into play and got second place in the Tournament of Champions.
Buttrey, 61, came in third place in the Tournament of Champions and won the 2021 Professors Tournament.
Roach, 24, is the youngest “Jeopardy!” champ to ever be ranked in the top five for all-time consecutive games won. She had a 23-game streak and went on to be a semifinalist in the Tournament of Champions.
Holzhauer, 38, holds all 10 spots on the Board of Legends for most single-game winnings, having earned nearly $3 million total in “Jeopardy!” winnings. He won the 2019 Tournament of Champions and came in second in 2020’s “Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time” — behind Jennings.
“Jeopardy! Masters” premieres Monday, May 8, at 8 p.m. ET.
