Paige Spiranac found something missing from Michael Block’s sweet PGA Championship moment with wife

Much like the rest of the golf community, Paige Spiranac can’t get enough of the breakout star of this year’s PGA Championship, club professional Michael Block.

When discussing last weekend’s tournament on her “Playing A Round” podcast, the longtime golf influencer, 30, spoke about a tender moment between Block and his wife, Val, on the 18th hole Sunday, quipping the sequence was missing a certain element.

“I’m just saying, if I’m on camera and I’m going up to my man, and I’m going in for a hug, and I’m putting my head up, going for a kiss, and they just deny me a kiss in front of all these people on camera, I would be bringing that up later,” Spiranac said on Tuesday’s episode.

“Not only later that day, but every single day for the rest of our lives until we die. We’ll be laying next to each other on our death bed and be like, ‘Remember that moment you didn’t kiss me on camera?’ That would be the last thing I would ever say.”

Block, a 46-year-old pro from Mission Viejo, Calif., placed 15th at Oak Hill in Rochester, New York, earning a payout of nearly $300,000 and an automatic exemption in next year’s tournament.

Prior to his storybook finish, Block sunk an epic hole-in-one on the 15th during Sunday’s final round.

Block’s wife “fell to the ground crying” in the surreal scene, a source recalled to Page Six’s Francesca Bacardi.

“It was amazing. It was so incredible,” the source said. “It was like holy s–t.”

Spiranac’s co-host, Samantha Marks, said she’s “rooting for” Val as Block has two events on deck, the Charles Schwab Challenge and the RBC Canadian Open.

Brooks Koepka ultimately claimed the top prize at this year’s PGA Championship, finishing at 9 under Sunday.

It’s the fifth major tournament win of Koepka’s career and the third time he’s hoisted the Wanamaker Trophy.
