Irina Shayk’s Super Bowl rooting could cause Tom Brady awkwardness

It seems like Tom Brady and Irina Shayk are getting quite comfortable with one another, but their football allegiances might be a prickly topic.

After the Hall of Fame quarterback, 45, and Russian supermodel, 37, were seen getting cozy in Brady’s car appearing to spend the weekend together in Los Angeles, an old picture of Shayk at Super Bowl 52 surfaced — prompting questions about the pair’s clashing rooting interests.

When the Patriots took on the Eagles in 2018, Shayk showed up sporting an Eagles cap along with then-boyfriend Bradley Cooper, a lifelong Birds fan.

Shayk took photos with Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry as well, who were also decked out in Eagles gear.

The game was a classic, as the Eagles took home their first-ever Super Bowl with a late touchdown pass from Nick Foles, downing Brady and the Patriots, 41-33.

That seems to be in the past now.

Brady was seen picking up Shayk from the Hotel Bel-Air on the evening of July 21, and the pair did not come out of Brady’s LA home until 9:30 the next morning.

The quarterback was spotted caressing Shayk’s face in his Rolls Royce.

News of their dalliance did not sit well with Brady’s ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who was “not happy at all,” according to TMZ.

Shayk began dating Cooper in 2015 after the actor’s split with Suki Waterhouse.

They welcomed a daughter named Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper but broke up in 2019 after Cooper’s work on “A Star is Born” began to drive them apart.

Cooper is a die-hard Eagles fan and starred in the Academy-Award winning “Silver Linings Playbook,” in which he played a bipolar fan.

Shayk has a long list of notable past partners, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Kanye West.

Rumors about Shayk and Brady first surfaced when the supermodel reportedly “threw herself” at Brady during a high-profile wedding in June, though she denied those suggestions through a representative.

Brady was also linked to Kim Kardashian this summer, following reported flirting during Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July white party in the Hamptons.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner announced his divorce from Bündchen in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
