Katharine McPhee’s nanny fatally run over by elderly woman: report

A nanny who worked for singer Katharine McPhee and her husband David Foster reportedly died after an elderly woman hit her at a San Fernando Valley car dealership.

A source identified Yadira Calito, 55, to TMZ on Tuesday as the woman who was struck by an 84-year-old woman behind the wheel of a Toyota RAV4 on Aug. 9 and crashed it into the service center’s customer reception area at Hamer Toyota.

The Los Angeles Police Department declined to confirm the identity of the deceased woman when contacted by The Post on Tuesday.

According to a public LAPD news release, the elderly driver, a resident of Mission Hills, accelerated for unknown reasons and collided with several people who were inside the building.

The driver was not injured but caused injuries to two employees, a 23-year-old and 35-year-old man, as well as a 55-year-old female customer, presumably Calito.

All three victims were rushed to the hospital where the two men were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and are expected to make a full recovery.

The dealership addressed an “event” on its Facebook page on Aug. 9, saying it would be closed the rest of the day and “resume operations” on Aug. 10.

“Our primary concern at this time is the well-belong of those who were injured. We ask for the community’s understanding and patience,” their statement read.

McPhee and Foster announced Friday that there had been “a horrible tragedy” in their family, prompting the “American Idol” alum to leave the couple’s “David Foster and Friends” tour in Asia.

“Dearest Jakarta fans, it’s with heavy heart I announce I have to miss our final two shows of our Asia run,” the “Terrified” singer announced on Instagram.

“David [Foster] and I have had a horrible tragedy in our family and at least one of us need to get back home to our family. Please know how sorry I am and how much I wish to return one day and perform for you all. Love Katharine.”
