Aaron Rodgers had a special supporter in the stands when he made his highly anticipated Jets debut Saturday.
Mallory Edens, the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens, took to her Instagram Stories over the weekend to share a photo from MetLife Stadium, where she watched her rumored boyfriend in action.
Rodgers was first linked to Edens in January after the two appeared at a Bucks game together.
Rodgers threw for 47 yards in the Jets’ preseason finale against the Giants, connecting with second-year wide receiver Garrett Wilson for a touchdown in the 32-24 victory.
“Yeah, got in, didn’t get hurt, scored,” Rodgers said postgame. “It was a good night.”
Jets head coach Robert Saleh remarked how it was “good” for Rodgers, 39, to see “a little bit of that action” before the regular season begins.
“It’s good for him,” Saleh said. “He needs that. He needs a little bit of that action. It was good to show that he still has mobility, he still has legs. We’ve been seeing it all camp. You can blitz him but he still has plenty of movement to be able to get out of the pocket and create off-schedule.”
Rodgers, 39, arrived in New York with much fanfare in April following 18 seasons in Green Bay.
The former Packers quarterback has gotten acquainted with his new surroundings, taking in Broadway shows with teammates as well as summer concerts with close pals.
Both Rodgers and Edens caught Ed Sheeran’s concert at MetLife Stadium in June, when they shared posts from the show on their Instagram Stories but none together.
Prior to his rumored romance with Edens, Rodgers was engaged to actress Shailene Woodley.
The four-time league MVP confirmed the engagement in early 2021 before the two called it quits last year.
Rodgers also dated former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick from 2018-20 and actress Olivia Munn, with the couple parting in 2017 after three years together.
Rodgers and the Jets host the Bills in their season opener on Monday, Sept. 11.
