Women couldn’t get enough of Taylor Swift at Travis Kelce’s Chiefs game

Taylor Swift brings viewers — 24.3 million to be exact.

Rumors of Swift’s potential attendance at Sunday’s Chiefs-Bears game followed by the Grammy Award-winning singer showing up for the 41-10 beatdown made the contest the most-watched telecast on any network last week, according to the Fox Sports communication and public relations teams.

The game also ranked first among the female 12-17, 18-34, 18-49 and 2+ demos for the past week, per the tweet.

It didn’t matter that Sunday’s mismatch between the reigning Super Bowl champions and the Bad News Bears was competitive for all of roughly three seconds.

Fans wanted to see if Swift would take up her rumored beau, Travis Kelce, on his offer to come to Arrowhead Stadium.

“I threw the ball in her court. I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit,” Kelce said on “The Pat McAfee show” leading into the game.

Swift did indeed show up, and the cameras could not stop following her every move.

The “Shake It Off” artist sat next to Kelce’s mother, Donna, in a suite, and seemed to have a great time watching Kelce’s team dominate the massive mismatch.

Swift celebrated after Kelce hauled in a 3-yard touchdown pass that gave the Chiefs a 41-0 lead with 7:40 remaining in the third quarter.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made sure to find Kelce in the end zone at least once knowing that he had a special guest in attendance.

“I heard she was in the house,” Mahomes told Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews after improving to 2-1. “I felt a little bit of pressure and so I knew I had to get it to Trav.”

The viewership totals include the entire Fox national late afternoon window, in which the Cardinals upset of the Cowboys was also airing.

Much of the country was switched to the Dallas-Arizona game during the second half of the Chiefs’ rout of the Bears.

The Swift-Kelce connection could potentially make its next stop in prime time in the Meadowlands when the Chiefs visit the Jets this Sunday for “Sunday Night Football.”
