Meghan Markle reportedly still has her eye on the bright lights of Tinseltown.
“[Prince] Harry and Meghan have been busy with Invictus Games recently, but Meghan is still planning her Hollywood reinvention,” a source told Us Weekly on Thursday.
“Meghan has a new team around her, and they’ve been strategizing about what mediums will have the most impact.”
The 42-year-old former “Suits” star signed with esteemed entertainment agency WME in April. Rumors about a big Hollywood return have been circulating ever since.
“The agency will be focusing on building out her business ventures across multiple facets of the agency & its broader ecosystem, including film & television production, brand partnerships & more,” the agency tweeted at the time.
US Weekly’s insider added Thursday that the former “Deal or No Deal” model wants whatever she does next “to be rooted in giving back” and “philanthropy” and has been in talks with documentary directors and fashion houses.
Markle has suffered a string of professional embarrassments, reportedly losing out on a three-year, $20 million contract with Dior in July.
The couple’s failed $20 million partnership with Spotify earlier this year still makes the headlines, with CEO executive Daniel Ek recently admitting that consumers simply were not impressed with the product Harry and Meghan delivered.
A $100 million production deal with Netflix however, said to have been on shaky ground just months ago, appears to have survived, with the couple purchasing the rights to produce the film version of Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel, “Meet Me at the Lake.”
One high-profile production deal doesn’t appear to be enough for the ambitious Markle, though.
“There isn’t anything locked in yet, but the most promising [thing] for everyone seems to be Meghan and Harry highlighting important issues through docuseries and bringing attention and fundraising,” the source claimed.
The Post has contacted reps for Markle for comment.
For now, Markle and Prince Harry will reportedly head to the East Coast next week, where they’re expected to visit Manhattan for World Mental Health Day on Oct. 10 to host an event for their Archewell Foundation.
It will be the first time the pair have appeared in NYC since their “near catastrophic car chase” on the streets of Midtown this past May.
