Whether or not it was the birthday of his “Wildest Dreams” or not, Travis Kelce did get to celebrate with Taylor Swift.
The Chiefs tight end turned 34 on Thursday and hung out with the pop star on Friday night in Kansas City before he traveled to Minnesota to take on the Vikings, Page Six confirmed.
US Weekly was first to report that the pair had a “chill night” for the NFL star’s birthday.
Swift came in from Nashville to have the evening with Kelce.
Kelce grabbed 10 catches for 67 yards and a touchdown — despite an injury scare — in a 27-20 win over the Vikings, but he did not have Swift in the stands during the victory.
After reports started to swirl about the two’s rumored romance, Swift attended the Chiefs’ Week 3 game against the Bears at Arrowhead Stadium and then was at MetLife Stadium when the Chiefs topped the Jets on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 4.
The Vikings made fun of the “Blank Space” singer’s absence at U.S. Bank Stadium in a viral TikTok that featured the team’s mascot, Viktor the Viking.
In the video, Viktor pushes over a metal cabinet, which eventually falls over.
“Was Taylor Swift in there?” read a caption above the video.
On Friday before the game, Kelce addressed what it’s been like to have the extra attention in his life.
“I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl, and right now even more on top of the world, so it’s fun man,” Kelce told reporters.
“At the same time, [the attention] comes with it. You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, for good reason. So… just gotta keep living and earning and enjoying the moments.
In a September episode of the “New Heights” podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason, Kelce said he would keep conversations about Swift in the public eye to a minimum.
“What’s real is that you know, it is my personal life, I want to respect both of our lives,” Kelce said. “She’s not in the media as much as I am doing this show every single week and having fun during the NFL season on other guys’ shows, like the McAfee show and any other show I go on from here on out, like you said on that Thursday night game, I’m enjoying life and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend.
“So everything moving forward, I think me talking about sports and saying alright now will have to be kind of where I keep it.”
Kelce and the Chiefs next take on the reeling Broncos on “Thursday Night Football.”
