The celebrations keep on rolling for Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola.
In what’s been a memorable year for the Phillies — who are facing the Diamondbacks in the NLCS — Nola and his wife, Hunter Jayde Harrington, shared in fall 2023 they are expecting their first child.
Here’s what you need to know about Nola’s biggest supporter.
What does she do for a living?
Although Harrington’s career path is unclear, she has dedicated time to supporting Nola, 30, and his MLB career.
Nola, who made his MLB debut for the Phillies in 2015, is the team’s longest-tenured player.
Harrington has shared snaps from the Phillies’ 2023 postseason run on Instagram, where she boasts nearly 15,000 followers.
“Moving on… NLCS bound,” she gushed in October 2023.
She was a track and field athlete
It appears Nola isn’t the only athlete in the family.
Harrington was a member of the track and field team during her time at Pickеns County High School (Ga.), according to Sportskeeda.
They got married in 2022
Nola and Harrington got married on Dec. 31, 2022, at Barnsley Gardens Resort and Spa in their native Georgia.
The high school sweethearts shared separate Instagram posts to commemorate the lavish occasion.
“A weekend to remember,” Harrington wrote on Instagram at the time.
Nola popped the question in December 2021 during their trip to Yonah Mountain in Georgia.
In January 2023, Harrington gave her Instagram followers a peek at the pair’s tropical honeymoon.
They are expecting a baby together
On top of the Phillies’ postseason success in 2023, the Nola family revealed a baby is also on the way.
“Our biggest blessing is along for the post season ride! Baby Nola,” the couple wrote in a joint October 2023 Instagram post.
The bundle of joy is expected to arrive in April 2024.
Nola is 3-0 with a 0.96 ERA in his three postseason starts this year, including six shutout innings in the Phillies’ 10-0 win Game 2 versus the Diamondbacks.
He has allowed two runs in 18 2/3 innings this postseason, striking out 19 and walking two.
It should go without saying Baby Nola will be a Philadelphia fan.
