Travis Kelce was apparently nowhere to be found on the opening night of Taylor Swift’s three-show run in Buenos Aires, Argentina, according to Page Six — but his brother thinks he’ll “pop up somewhere.”
Kelce is expected to travel to the South American nation to see Swift during his NFL bye week while she performs the international swing of her Eras Tour.
The Chiefs don’t return to the practice field until Monday, which Kelce will be back in time for, a source told Page Six on Wednesday.
With shows on Friday and Saturday, Kelce, 34, still has the chance to see Swift, 33, live for the first time since they became an item.
The Chiefs tight end saw Swift perform in August during the Kansas City stop on her Eras Tour, which was before the two were linked.
Kelce coyly addressed some of his bye week plans with his older brother, Jason Kelce, on the “New Heights” podcast this week, and Jason was posed with questions about his brother’s plans while appearing on the Prime Video “Thursday Night Football” broadcast.
“It’s something new every week,” Jason, 36, told Al Michaels. “I’m sure he’ll pop up somewhere this bye week.”
However, it seemed that Jason’s lack of insight into his younger brother’s plans may have been on purpose.
Jason joked that Travis hadn’t been telling him certain things to keep it from getting out to the public.
“He’s purposely leaving me out of what’s happening, he knows my mouth is a little bit too big these days,” the elder Kelce joked. “Giving a little bit too much media coverage.”
Michaels then asked Jason directly if Travis was in Argentina.
“I don’t know. It’s kind of like ‘Carmen Sandiego,’ he’ll pop up somewhere,” Jason responded.

The comings and goings of Kelce and Swift’s romance have been headline-making news since the pair were first linked back in September.
Swift has made several appearances at Travis’ games this season after they became linked.
