Travis Kelce had “Cupid” on his side when it came to courting now-girlfriend Taylor Swift.
When discussing the beginnings of their romance in a new interview with WSJ. Magazine, the Chiefs tight end, 34, recalled how he wanted to cross paths with Swift, 33, at her “Eras Tour” stop in Kansas City but came up short — something he relayed on a July installment of his “New Heights” podcast.
“There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: Yo! Did you know he was coming? I had somebody playing Cupid,” Kelce said of Swift, who relayed those details after she reached out to him.
“She told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out.”
The two-time Super Bowl champion has been publicly linked to Swift since September, with the pair showing some PDA during October dates in New York.
Kelce most recently traveled to South America to visit Swift, who resumed her “Eras Tour” last week.
