Taylor Swift’s brother, Austin, made Travis Kelce’s Christmas extra special this year.
Kelce, who hosted his girlfriend’s family at his Kansas City home after they attended the Chiefs’ Christmas Day upset loss to the Raiders, explained why Austin’s gift made him feel like a child again.
“He killed it and he actually made me feel like a child because his gift to me was straight out of the bag — in the Santa sack — whipped it out and handed me a VHS of my favorite football movie of all time, ‘Little Giants,’” Kelce said in the latest installment of his and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
The holiday episode featured multiple guests, including Travis and Jason’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, as well as Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce.
Kylie brought up Austin when Travis asked her to choose the “New Heights” holiday stamp of the week, which is someone who’s taken their game to new holiday heights.
“I’m tempted to pick on you further, but that’s not going to go well,” Kylie said. “I was going to say whoever wore the Santa suit.”
That’s when Travis revealed it was Austin who dressed up as Santa, seemingly referring to their Christmas Day festivities after the Chiefs’ 20-14 loss to the Raiders.
“He killed it,” Kylie said. “I respect it. I respect a full commit.”
Austin is an actor and producer and is close with his older sister, Taylor.
The siblings grew up together on their family’s Christmas tree farm in rural Pennsylvania, before they relocated to Nashville so Taylor could pursue her country singing career.
Kylie also asked Travis how his Christmas was following the Chiefs’ loss.
“F–k, the worst, I’m not gonna lie,” he said. “I’ve had better.
“It ended well with great Christmas cheer and great people and that’s always going to save Christmas, no matter if you lose to the Raiders.”
Travis and Taylor spent Christmas with her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, and Ed at his home in Kansas City — the $6 million mansion he purchased in October, which features six bedrooms, six baths and spans 17,000 square feet — according to The Daily Mail.
Earlier in the “New Heights” holiday episode, Donna said she spent Christmas in Philadelphia, where Jason and the Eagles beat the Giants, 33-25, at Lincoln Financial Field.
Travis added Donna will spend New Year’s Eve in Kansas City when the Chiefs host the Bengals on Sunday.
Swift is expected to attend the game at Arrowhead Stadium, according to Page Six.
The couple has been dating for a few months and went public with their relationship in October, when they were photographed holding hands while out together in New York City.
Kelce has asked Scott for his permission for Taylor’s hand in marriage, according to Page Six.
