Andy Reid drew laughter from reporters on Tuesday when he answered an unexpected political question tying Taylor Swift and the Chiefs to President Joe Biden ahead of Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas.

The Chiefs coach, who’s preparing for the big game against the 49ers on Sunday, was asked in a press conference about conspiracy theories that Swift’s ties to the team — which her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce, plays on — were created to help Biden get re-elected in 2024, according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer.

“That’s way out of my league,” Reid said as the room errupted with laughter. “It’s very similar to me speaking German.

“But listen, I appreciate the question. She’s been great. We had a nice visit with President Biden, that’s about as far as I can go last year.”

Reid, 65, was referring to when the Chiefs visited the White House last June after Kansas City beat the Philadelphia Eagles, 38-35, in Super Bowl 2023 — which is a tradition for championship teams across most leagues.

Reid took the podium in front of the White House, where Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes presented Biden, 81, with a custom Chiefs jersey.

“We’re fired up to be here as a football team,” Reid said before thanking Biden and his staff for “the 100 percent first-class hospitality.”

Swift — who endorsed Biden a month before the former democratic nominee ran for election in November 2020 — has been at the center of a recent conspiracy alleging the NFL is rigging games in favor of the Chiefs, and Democrats are rooting for the reigning champs to sway Swift to endorse Biden for president.

The 34-year-old pop star has yet to publicly endorse a presidential candidate for the 2024 election.

The Biden campaign is reportedly hoping for a “dream” endorsement from Swift, according to a recent New York Times story.

Swift, who has been dating Kelce, 34, since the summer, is expected to cheer on the Chiefs on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium after completing the fourth show of her Eras Tour in Tokyo the day before.

Should the Chiefs defeat the 49ers, they could be making a return trip to the White House.

Super Bowl 2024 kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.
