Jessica Mulroney is back on Canada’s social scene following her fallout with ex-best friend Meghan Markle.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, purportedly froze out the Canadian stylist, 43, after she was accused of exhibiting “white privilege” back in 2020 amid widespread Black Lives Matter marches.

The scandal is said to have caused a rift between the pals, who had been close since 2011.

Mulroney subsequently spent several years out of the spotlight, but has begun to more reassert herself more publicly in recent months.

The brunette beauty — whose father-in-law is former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney —has shared a snap to her Instagram account this week showing her at a dress fitting ahead of a glamorous event.

Meanwhile, last November, ,Mulroney attended a fundraising bash for a The Shoebox Project for Shelters — a charity she co-founded with her sisters-in-law Caroline, Katy, and Vanessa in 2011.

The organization helps at-risk women and homeless citizens in Canada.

While Mulroney exited the charity in 2020, she brought along her daughter, Ivy, to the glitzy event proving she’s stepping back into the spotlight.

She posted a photo from the gala at the time, writing: “The new generation of @shoeboxproject. Ivy is taking over. Every year I am in awe of your generosity and support. What a night raising over 25k for women impacted by homelessness.”

Mulroney was also involved with the 2023 Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA).

Last October, she applauded designers who showcased their work that year.

“Tonight the @cafawards celebrates our very own designers. There is so much talent in this country and I thank you for always making me feel beautiful in your designs. Good luck tonight. Despite everything going on in the world, it is still important to celebrate our own,” she gushed over the organization on social media.

Meanwhile, publicist Vince Ciarlo gave some insight to the Daily Mail recently about how Mulroney should be “back on the scene” after her friendship breakup with Meghan.

“Enough time has passed, and the world has changed since she was shamed. Like a true professional, she followed the playbook on the ‘Art of the Apology,’” he added.

“Art of the Apology” is a book by Lauren M. Bloom that examines how delivering a successful apology isn’t easy.

“She apologized, kept out of the limelight and rebuilt her brand and reputation and now deserves the respect and attention to share her expertise on creativity,” Ciarlo said.

Mulroney was embroiled in a scandal after black Toronto-based influencer Sasha Exeter shared a clip in 2020 accusing the fashionista of exhibiting “white privilege.”

Despite the mother of three apologizing to Exeter, she was fired from her contracts with Hudson’s Bay, ABC, Cityline and CTV. She often did TV appearances for those bands regarding her fashion and style expertise.
