Comedian Richard Lewis was seemingly doing OK just weeks before his death.

The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” alum died following a heart attack in LA on Tuesday. He was 76.

Lewis — who suffered from Parkinson’s disease — noted that he was “doing quite well” during an interview with People on Feb. 9.

“I have some occasional walking difficulties with Parkinson’s the last couple of years. It’s not major. I’m getting through it fine so far, but I didn’t want to go to, spend five or six hours mingling with so many people,” he said about his health at the time.

“It’s just asking for trouble,” the funnyman joked.

Lewis missed the Season 12 premiere bash for “Curb Your Enthusiasm” on Jan. 30.

While he was “disappointed” to skip the celebration, he noted: “All things considered, I’m doing quite well.”

His publicist, Jeff Abraham, confirmed Lewis’ death in a statement to the Post on Wednesday.

“His wife, Joyce Lapinsky, thanks everyone for all the love, friendship, and support and asks for privacy at this time,” the statement read.

Last April, the actor announced he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in a social media post.

“I have Parkinson’s disease, but I’m under a doctor’s care and everything is cool,” the “Anything but Love” star confessed in a video posted on X, formerly Twitter, at the time. “I’m finished with standup. I’m just focusing on writing and acting from here on out.”

He continued: “I just wrapped a couple of weeks ago season 12 of ‘Curb’ and it was just an amazing season and I’m so grateful to be a part of that show.”

“But you know the last three and a half years, I’ve had sort of a rocky time,” he said.

When the news of his death surfaced, his “Curb” cast paid tribute to him alongside other A-list pals.

Lewis played a fictionalized version of himself on Larry David’s HBO sitcom from 2000 until 2024.

The “Seinfeld” creator, 76, told People in a statement that the “Leaving Las Vegas” actor was “like a brother” to him.

“He had that rare combination of being the funniest person and also the sweetest. But today he made me sob and for that, I’ll never forgive him,” David quipped.

Cheryl Hines, who played David’s wife in the comedy, also recalled the good times she had with Lewis.

“When I was young I had the biggest crush on Richard Lewis. He was the funniest person on stage and the most handsome comedian. Then when I was cast on ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ I got to work with him and it was a dream come true,” said the “Suburgatory” actress, 58, added.
