Cue Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” — because they’re going to need it.

Hugh Jackman has officially returned as Wolverine in the first trailer for “Deadpool & Wolverine,” which dropped on Monday.

The highly anticipated teaser kicks off with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool finding Jackman’s Wolverine at a bar — where he’s “not welcome,” according to the bartender.

“Hi, peanut,” Deadpool muses. “I’m going to need you to come with me right now.”

“Listen lady, I’m not interested,” Wolverine replies.

When Wolverine’s claws come out, Deadpool jokes: “Whiskey d–k of the claws. It’s quite common in Wolverines over 40.”

After more pressure to join him — and having a gun pointed to his head — Wolverine finally gives in to team up with Deadpool.

“Want to talk about whats haunting you or should we wait for a third act flashback?” Deadpool later asks.

Wolverine deadpans: “Go f–k yourself.”

“Trust me kid, I’m no hero,” he goes on.

Deadpool notes: “You were an X-Men. You were the X-Men.”

Reynolds, 47, announced his third “Deadpool” movie — this time, alongside Jackman, 55 — in September 2022.

“Hard keeping my mouth sewn shut about this one,” Reynolds captioned a video via Twitter of the announcement at the time. “We’re extremely sad to have missed D23 but we’ve been working hard on the next Deadpool film for a good long while now.”

Jackman first played the Marvel character in 2000’s “X-Men,” and his character faced his death in 2017’s “Logan.” In August 2021, he told Jake’s Takes that the character would always be meaningful to him.

“It’s still a character I hold close to my heart, but I know it’s done,” Jackman said. “Tell that to whoever you want, but please tell it to Ryan. Because he doesn’t believe it. He thinks I’m joking.”
