Pro Football Hall of Fame Jason Taylor and his wife, Monica, quickly separated when their rendezvous was captured by ESPN cameras during the Jets-Dolphins game on “Monday Night Football.”
Taylor, a former NFL Defensive Player of the Year with the Dolphins, was sitting with Monica on his lap as he was shown on the broadcast in the fourth quarter of Miami’s 27-21 win.
Monica, who is a fashion entrepreneur and vice president of the Jason Taylor Foundation, hurried to get up and move to her seat in the private suite at Hard Rock Stadium.
The couple, who celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in August, are no strangers to showing PDA, as their Instagrams are filled with sweet snapshots of their love.
Taylor and Monica have a son Jordan, while the former NFL star co-parents Mason, Isaiah and Zoe with his ex.
Some on social media were quick to liken it to the infamous Coldplay kiss cam moment that outed a couple’s affair — saying Taylor was “caught in 4K” — before realizing he was with his wife.
Taylor, who’s in his third season as the University of Miami’s defensive line coach, and Monica were there to support his son, Jets rookie tight end Mason Taylor, again the team he starred for in the 1990s and 2000s.
Mason had five receptions for 65 yards on seven targets in the best outing of his young career.
Despite getting their first victory of the season, Miami lost star wideout Tyreek Hill to a horrific season-ending leg injury.
Hill suffered the injury in the third quarter as he caught a crucial third-down pass and ran out of bounds, with his leg bending awkwardly when he landed. He was later carted off of the field.
The wideout, who was clapping and smiling as he left the game, reportedly suffered a knee dislocation, torn ACL and other torn ligaments.
