The final round of the 2026 U.S. Open is underway. While plenty of the world’s best golfers are competing for a chance to win the iconic major tournament, there’s no question that this year’s U.S. Open is Wyndham Clark’s to lose at this point.
Clark has played a pristine three rounds and entered Sunday with a 7-under-par total, which is six strokes ahead of the group of players tied for second place. Therefore, all Clark needs to do is not suffer a complete collapse and he should win his second U.S. Open in the last four years, after he broke through with his first major championship during the 2023 U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club.
Clark has said in the past that his “good luck charm” of late has been his girlfriend, Emily Tanner. These two made their relationship Instagram official at the Masters earlier this year, and Tanner has been seen with Clark on the PGA Tour ever since.
Tanner has gotten a lot of attention throughout the U.S. Open, often because of the outfits she’s wearing.
She is clearly feeling happy for her boyfriend heading into Sunday, which she conveyed with an Instagram Story post on June 20 that showed Clark walking on the course during sunset. The story was captioned, “Proud x1000000”.
Fans can expect to see Tanner following Clark around as he looks to finish the 2026 U.S. Open in style on Sunday. And she’ll surely make an appearance if (and when) it becomes time for Clark to celebrate.
