Actress Shailene Woodley couldn’t help but laugh when she was asked about her ex-fiancé Aaron Rodgers after the Steelers quarterback made scathing accusations regarding their relationship last week.
Woodley was all smiles when a reporter asked about “Rodgers and what he said” as her and a friend entered MPTF’s 20th Annual Evening Before at Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Sunday.
The “Big Little Lies” star — who Rodgers accused of wanting to sleep with another man after they got engaged in December 2020 — did not say anything else.
During Thursday’s installment of the “Not just Football” podcast, Rodgers went scorched earth on Woodley, as well as another ex-girlfriend, Danica Patrick.
The former four-time NFL MVP alleged that Woodley took off her engagement ring in March 2021 after he proposed three months prior.
They announced their engagement in February 2021, and it was reported that they called it quits in April 2022.
“I proposed to Shailene and she said yes. Now, she maybe felt like she was forced to make a decision. She could have said no,” Rodgers said.
“A couple days after that she tells me, ‘Before we get married, I gotta go f–k this guy,’ and I’m like — because her story is that I ruined her life and gave her crazy depression because I left her. But in actuality, she told me that and then she took off the ring by March — I proposed in December — and we had a couple of times where we tried to get reunited and nothing ever happened. There wasn’t even a relationship in 2022 to break off.
“She literally told me, ‘I don’t want to be with you’ after we tried some reconciliation in 2021. There’s just a lot of narrative out there that isn’t true.”
Rodgers — who is currently married to his wife, Brittani — accused both Woodley and Patrick of sharing false narratives about their relationships with him that made him look like a bad partner.
Rodgers explained that him and Brittany eloped in 2025.
He said the pair first met in Texas in 2017, and that he regretted letting her get away.
Rodgers said he was emotionally unavailable while with Woodley and Patrick because he had already met the love of his life, Brittani.
There are no public photos of Rodgers and Brittani, whose identity has been kept private since he went public with their relationship last June.
