Yankees two-way prospect Luke Pettitte and his wife Brooklyn had a cocktail hour that was baseball themed at their Oct. 4 wedding in their hometown of Houston.
Luke — the 248th overall pick by the Yankees in the 2026 MLB draft and the son of five-time World Series champion Andy Pettitte — and Brooklyn shared a behind the scenes video of their wedding and reception, which took place at Boxwood Manor, in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday.
The pair’s cocktail hour included a custom seating chart built by Brooklyn’s father, that featured baseball bats and a home plate sign that said, “Our people that feel like home,” according to Redeemed Content Co.
They shared their wedding photos by Sage Rochelle in other Instagram posts.
There were baseball bat drink stirrers, baseball bar signage and cocktail napkins, as well as a “Little League” corner with custom B&K coloring books.
Guests were given “New York or No Where” popcorn, crackerjacks and cotton candy passed out by Yankee waiters while Frank Sinatra’s “Theme of New York, New York” played.
The video was captioned, “MARRY! A! YANKEE!”
A mocktail menu featured baseball themed drinks, such as “the sideline sweetheart” and “the two-way.”
Other signage read, “Oh hey batter batter love is in full swing!!!”
During the after party, the newlyweds kissed and Luke dipped Brooklyn as their guests cheered and tossed silver and blue streamers.
Luke and Brooklyn, who celebrated three years together in January, got engaged in May.
Luke, a right-handed pitcher and designated hitter, was assigned to Tampa Tarpons, a Single-A affiliate of the Yankees competing in the FCL North Division, in August.
The pair both attended Dallas Baptist University, where he played for the men’s baseball team and Brooklyn was a cheerleader.
Andy, a three-time All-Star, spent 15 seasons with the Yankees and pitched to a 3.85 ERA across an 18-year MLB career.
He was a member of the club’s “Core Four,” alongside teammates Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera and Jorge Posada.
He is currently an advisor for the Yankees.
