The film is set in Kasauli, where a serial killer is uncovered and Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh are the cops, who are on a mission to stop the killer. Akshay Kumar warns his team against a serial killer who has already committed 3 murders. He says in the trailer that the only way to stop the killer is through “mind games”, not power games. He decides to seal the city and move out to accomplish his goal, only to find obstacles at every step. The trailer ends with a shot by Akshay Kumar opening the trunk of the car, followed by a shocking reaction.

Sharing the film’s teaser on social media, the film’s lead actor Akshay Kumar wrote: “3 Murders, 1 City, a Cop and a Serial-Killer out! puppet Drop on Hotstar on September 2, only on Disney+ Hotstar.”
The film is co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Pooja Entertainment. It is directed by Ranjit M Tiwari. puppet Sargun Mehta and Chandrachur Singh are also in lead roles.
Speaking at the trailer launch of the film in Mumbai on Saturday, Akshay Kumar told reporters, “Set once in Kasauli amidst the backdrop of nature’s beauty, the film unravels the incidents of ugly murders. It is fascinating twist and turn. I play Arjan Sethi, an underdog investigative officer who is on his way to catch a psycho killer whose motives are unpredictable and unclear. Here, revenge is an illusion and the final act of the film is unimaginable and takes you by complete surprise. will – and that is what makes it unique, news agency ANI said.
