Carrion Cross not physically visible Friday Night Smackdown This week in Montreal, but we got a message from him from the WWE production team in the form of another beautifully crafted vignette. This gave us some insight into what we’re looking forward to in the near future for the former NXT Champion.
Namely, Drew McIntyre:
Cross isn’t jumping to the front of the line yet. No, McIntyre will come first.
Meanwhile, this video serves as a great example of the difference between how Triple H presented Cross and how Vince McMahon did. Not that we need to keep stressing it so much as using it to highlight how much difference it can make to someone. In Cross’s case, it’s really the difference between being the guy flirting with a title shot in the near future and not working straight for the company at all.
Vignettes like these do a great job of making Cross look like the Billy badass he was in NXT while building up for the inevitable match with McIntyre. And it’s going to be a lot of fun when these two big guys start clapping on each other.
