Cancer-free Kate Middleton returns to work for first time since completing chemotherapy

The Princess of Wales has returned to work.

Her Royal Highness, aka Kate Middleton, marked her first official day back on the job as a working member of The Royal Family on Tuesday following her completion of preventative chemotherapy for cancer, according to multiple reports.

“The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle,” an entry in the official record of past royal engagements known as The Court Circular states.

Meeting with the team at the Early Years organization, which aims to give children a better start in the first five years of their lives, was a fitting choice for the princess’ first official work appointment of 2024 given that she has described the project as “her life’s work.”

Royal watcher Richard Palmer was among those who reported on the Princess’ return to royal duties.

“The Princess of Wales went back to work today for the first time since completing her chemotherapy treatment,” Palmer posted on X. “She held a meeting at Windsor Castle with advisers working on her Early Years campaign to give children a better start in the first five years of their lives.”

“The Princess’s work meeting is recorded in the Court Circular, which also shows that Prince William went on a private visit today to meet special forces soldiers from 22 Special Air Service regiment who have recently served on operations,” Palmer added.

At the time of publication, Kate and William’s meetings were not reported on the publicly available court circular online.

The Post has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.

Princess Catherine revealed that she completed her chemotherapy and is “cancer free” in a social media post on Sept. 9.

“I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” the Princess of Wales said in a statement on X.

“Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”

Kate shocked the world with her cancer reveal back in March following months of speculation about why she hadn’t been seen in public.
