Kate Middleton’s uncle is criticizing “The Crown” for its portrayal of her mom, Carole Middleton.

The sixth season of the hit Netflix royal drama featured Carole (played by actress Eve Best) in 2001 as she tried to play matchmaker for her daughter (Meg Bellamy) for Prince William after they met at St Andrews University.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s uncle Gary Goldsmith has blasted the depiction on an episode of the Daily Mail’s podcast The Crown: Fact or Fiction.

He claimed he “stopped” watching the show because it became “very difficult to watch.”

“It started becoming ridiculous and fantastical,” he began.

“Carole isn’t that manipulative evil person — coming up with ways by which she can force her way into the royal family,” Goldsmith continued. “I don’t understand why Carole hasn’t taken legal action cause literally it’s that bad.”

Kate, 42, encountered William, 41, at the Scottish college over 20 years ago and they married in 2011.

“Kate did brilliantly well to get into St Andrews,” he said of his niece. “She’s an amazing girl, but that wasn’t noted.”

Goldsmith added: “It was all to do with ‘Kate you’ve got to be doing these things, you’ve got to be showing your legs’, and it’s just not my family. It’s not the way Carole operates.”

He also gave his take on whether the Middleton family has ever watched “The Crown.”

“I think the family is a bit too classy to watch stuff like that,” he said.

In the episode titled “Alma Mater,” Carole is painted as being manipulative and the puppet master of the relationship between Kate and Willy.

The show also featured the moment Kate caught the eye of her longtime love during a charity fashion show while wearing a skimpy dress.

Before getting on the runway, Carole tells Kate: “Heels not flats, you still want to show off those legs. It’s our duty to make use of the assets God has given us.”

“Does he know you’re back on the market? Maybe find a way of letting him know,” she advises Kate of making an impression on William.

During another scene, Kate yells at her mother for being pushy with her attempts to get together with the now-Prince of Wales.

“You don’t know him. What if William isn’t right for me? What about what I want?” a young adult Kate sobs to Carole.

“Once you had the idea fixed in your head you never stopped,” she continues, blasting her mother’s aims to prop her daughter up as an object of desire for the heir to the British throne.
