Comedy Bang! Bang! announced a tour, NYC show. Get tickets today

Hot Saucerman is back in business.

Comedy Bang! Bang! recently announced their summer 2026 ‘Ground Beefing Tour’ that will send host Scott Aukerman, fan favorite guest Paul F. Tompkins and a slew of unnamed CBB “all stars” to theaters, halls and stages all over North America from May through June.

That includes a stop at New York City’s Town Hall on Wednesday, June 24.

According to the show’s Instagram, the absurdist crew will “perform a totally improvised version of the award-winning podcast” at all shows.

For the uninitiated, “Ground Beefing” refers to a pun Aukerman made in a Best of 2025 episode where he described the classic ‘80s “Where’s The Beef” commercials as not “groundbreaking but certainly ground beefing.”

As for who the CBB All-Stars are we don’t know who will join but long-time listeners on Reddit speculate regulars like former “SNL” cast member Ego Nwodim, “The Other Two” star Drew Tarver, “The Righteous Gemstones” regular Tim Baltz “SNL” writer Carl Tart and UCB improv legend Will Hines may pop in.

Our fingers are crossed former band leader Reggie Watts and “Review” icon Andy Daly also swing by for some make ’em ups.

Prior to the upcoming outing, Comedy Bang! Bang! hit the road in 2013, 2016-17, 2019, 2022 and 2024.

Unfortunately, not many reviews are available online but we unearthed one from 2016 when the gang performed in Sydney.

Their local AU Review wrote “…[Aukerman] interviews a person of note, who appear as themselves, alongside a line-up of comedians who appear as characters. What happens is unscripted, and in the case of this evening, saw Scott and his four guests – who he gradually introduced to the set – beautifully play off one and other and go down a variety of roads – some involving incredibly, deliberately drawn out stories (see Mike Hanford’s Calvin Redding unnecessarily detailed bank robbery), and others surprisingly… let’s say, perverted, for lack of a better word (Lauren Lapkus’ Traci Rearden and something involving feet and orgasms?).”

“… it’s improv at its finest, and most unpredictable. And though it’s great to sit and listen to the show as a podcast, there’s nothing that equates to being a fan of the series and seeing it performed live.”

While we don”t know what the show will be like ten years removed from this review, we do know the best way to find out is live.

Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 10 at 10 am local time through Ticketmaster but are available now on trusted secondary market sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats.

We only recommend sites with a 100% buyer guarantee, so you know your transaction is safe and your tickets will arrive on time.

Note: Comedy Bang! Bang! also shared that “UK / Ireland / Southwest & West Coast USA dates” will be added soon.
