The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards are almost here, and TV’s hottest stars will be under one roof to celebrate their work on the small screen. As celebrities flock to the red carpet, many Emmy winners have already been announced.
The show airs on today (Sunday, September 15) at 8 p.m. ET live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles with “Schitt’s Creek” stars Eugene and Dan Levy, who happen to be a real-life father-son duo, as hosts.
Between Eugene and Dan, they hold 8 Emmys. The “American Pie” star, 77, has had 14 nominations throughout his decades-long career. His son, 41, has 6 nominations.
Eugene has won 4 times, with two of them being from “Schitt’s Creek.” All 4 of Dan’s come from the same award-winning Canadian series that took the world by storm when it landed a spot on Netflix.
The Emmy Awards will broadcast live on ABC and streams the next day on Hulu.
