Here’s what Meghan Markle has been wearing instead of her engagement ring

The mysterious saga of Meghan Markle’s “missing” engagement ring continues.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, has been spotted not sporting her special diamond band from husband Prince Harry in recent days, including at the Invictus Games this week.

Markle and Harry, 38, are currently in Düsseldorf, Germany, for the sports event until Sept. 16.

She actually swapped out the gemstone for her eternity ring, due to her OG ring being fixed up.

She has been rocking her secondary circlet since last month, when she was seen having lunch with friends.

The “Suits” alum was gifted the eternity ring by the Duke of Sussex when she gave brith to son Archie in 2019.

An insider dished to Harper’s Bazaar at the time that Markle was “touched” by the “push present.”

“A lot of thought went into it,” the source added.

The pave-set ring was designed by Lorraine Schwartz and contains diamonds and the birthstones of Archie, Markle and Harry.

She wore the band for the first time in 2019 at the Trooping the Colour bash.

The former actress and the Invictus Games founder got engaged in late 2017 and married in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

Her engagement ring was custom-made by the former army serviceman that had remnants of his late mother Princess Diana’s prized gemstone collection.

The ring consisted of a gold band with carefully selected diamonds he picked out, and two stones were from Diana’s collection.

The main diamond came from Botswana, a special place where Harry and Markle often vacationed together. 

When the couple sat down for a joint interview following the happy engagement moment, they described the ring and how it helped keep Diana close to their hearts.

“The ring is obviously yellow gold because that’s her favorite,” Harry explained at the time. “The little diamonds on either side are from my mother’s jewelry collection to make sure that she’s with us on this crazy journey together.”

Markle also divulged her sentiments about her ring and its connection to the People’s Princess.

“I think everything about Harry’s thoughtfulness is — and the inclusion of that and obviously not being able to meet his mom — it’s so important to me to know that she’s a part of this with us,” she said.
