“Home Alone” star Devin Ratray’s domestic violence trial has been delayed following reports that the actor was admitted to the hospital “in critical condition.”
According to TMZ, the 47-year-old’s family member confirmed that Ratray, best known for his role as the evil older brother of Kevin McCallister (Macauley Culkin) in the hit 1990 film, was released from the hospital in New York City and is now, on doctor’s orders, home and resting.
Details surrounding Ratray’s hospitalization are scarce, and there are no details regarding why Ratray was admitted and when, but the actor’s medical emergency caused the jury selection in his upcoming trial to be delayed.
Jury selection for the Oklahoma set trial , which was scheduled to begin on Monday, has now been pushed back to February.
The ongoing ordeal less than two years after the actor was accused of raping his friend in 2017.
The Post has reached out to reps of Ratray for comment.
In August 2022 Lisa Smith claimed that she was allegedly attacked at Ratray’s Manhattan apartment, according to CNN.
Smith claimed the 45-year-old actor drugged her before sexually assaulting her.
She filed a police report shortly after the alleged ordeal.
