Jennifer Lopez appreciates a good apology.

In an interview with Vanity Fair published May 21, “The Bear” star Ayo Edebiri revealed how Lopez, 54, reacted to her apologizing for calling the singer’s career a “scam” in 2020 podcast comments that resurfaced before the stars worked together on “Saturday Night Live” earlier this year.

“She was very chill and nice about it,” Edebiri, 28, said about Lopez.

The “Bottoms” star also denied that her remarks about the Grammy-nominated artist created a feud between the two.

“That would be like Mr. Bean and Mick Jagger beefing,” Edebri said, adding, “and I’m obviously Mr. Bean. She’s J.Lo!”

Edebiri shaded Lopez when she went on the “Scam Goddess” podcast in 2020.

“I think she thinks that she’s still good, even though she’s not singing for most of these songs … A lot of the write-ups of the songs will be like, ‘J.Lo didn’t have time to make it to the studio.’ Like, ‘J.Lo was busy.’ Doing what? Not singing, obviously,” the Emmy-winning actress said at the time.

The scathing comments made headlines when Edebiri and Lopez filmed the Feb. 3 episode of “Saturday Night Live” together. Edebiri hosted, and Lopez was the musical guest.

Edebiri poked fun at the drama in a sketch and seemed to get along swimmingly with Lopez.

Days later, Lopez told Variety that Edebiri apologized for her comments.

“She came to my dressing room and apologized with tears in her eyes, saying how terrible it was that she had said those things,” Lopez said. “She felt really badly and loved my performance because we had just done my soundcheck and she actually got to hear me perform. She was just like, ‘I’m so f–king sorry, it was so awful of me.’ ”

In Edebiri’s Vanity Fair interview, she revealed that she wanted to be on “SNL” for a long time. “‘SNL’ is something that in my bones, I dreamed of as a comedian, as a young kid. That to me is a pinnacle of success,” she said.

Edebiri rose to fame in 2022 for her award-winning role as chef Sydney Adamu in “The Bear,” which returns for Season 3 next month on FX on Hulu.

The hit show helped create a close bond between Edebiri and her co-star Jeremy Allen White, who plays head chef Carmy Berzatto.

“We really enjoy each other in life, on camera and off camera,” White, 33, said about his friendship with Edebiri to VF.

“I have a tremendous amount of respect for her as a person, but also as an artist. And so I hope that sort of that kind of thing shines through on camera between Carm and Syd,” he added. “Syd is always able to…I don’t know, to deliver something different to Carmy, and she’s usually right. And I guess I think Ayo is also usually right.”

Edebiri also talked about her connection with White and gave her co-star’s good looks a special shoutout.

“Boy’s got some beautiful blue eyes. You know what I mean?” she said. “Those are eyes you want to project onto.”

“The Bear” Season 3 premieres June 27 on FX on Hulu.
