Kate Middleton’s two-week hospital stint in being thrust back into the spotlight after it was claimed that a staffer at the London Clinic allegedly breached her medical records.

The famed UK hospital has launched an investigation after at least one member of staff allegedly tried to access health information belonging to the Princess of Wales during her hospital stay.

“This is a major security breach and incredibly damaging for the hospital, given its unblemished reputation for treating members of the Royal Family,” an insider told the Mirror.

As these allegations are put under a microscope, we take a closer look inside the luxury private hospital from which the Princess of Wales was discharged in January.

The mom of three would have been under the watchful eye of dedicated doctors and nurses in her own private room during her stint at the Clinic, which offers a personalized food menu, internet access, and the ability to accommodate patients’ requests.

The London Clinic, which is one of the UK’s largest independent hospitals, was opened by the Duke and Duchess of York in 1932.

It’s considered to be one of the most high-end medical facilities, boasting state-of-the-art equipment and wards for surgeries in urology, gynecology, thoracic surgery, orthopedics and spinal procedures.

According to its official website, the London Clinic was “founded on the principles of providing excellence in one place.” It treats over 155 medical conditions.

Since the 1980s, the hospital’s various facilities have been officially opened by members of the royal family, including Charles — who is currently receiving outpatient cancer treatment following his diagnosis in February.

Charles also underwent a “corrective procedure” for an enlarged prostate at the top private clinic, located in the uber-posh Marylebone area.

The monarch opened the physiotherapy department in 1989 when he was the Prince of Wales. His late aunt, Princess Margaret, opened the MRI unit in 1991.

The late Queen Elizabeth, who died on Sept. 8, 2022, cut the ribbon in 2010 when she unveiled the hospital’s cancer unit in 2010.

While the hospital has strict privacy protocols in place for its patients, it’s known that the late Prince Phillip, Princess Margaret, former US president John F. Kennedy, and several former UK Prime Ministers were all patients at the facility at one time.

Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor also received medical attention at the famed hospital after being injured on a film set in the 1960s.
