The former television host made quite a splash.

James Corden revealed Monday that his “darkest moment” since leaving the “Late Late Show” came when he took his children to a water park after moving back to England.

“When was the last time you went to a water park?” Corden, 45, questioned Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on the latter’s talk show on Monday.

“I don’t know,” Fallon, 49, responded. “I can’t even think.”

“So I haven’t been to a water park since I was, like, 12 years old,” Corden continued, adding that his last memories of going to one was an “amazing thing to do. That this is a great place full of fun.”

“That is not true, Jimmy,” he said, prompting the studio audience and Fallon to burst out laughing. “The only way I can describe it if you haven’t been in 20 or 30 years is it’s like you’re at Disney World, right? But everyone’s in their underwear.”

James Corden revealed Monday that his darkest moment since leaving the “Late Late Show” came when he took his children to a water park after moving back to England.

“Imagine that for a minute. You know what it’s like when you’re at Disney World,” the “Ocean’s Eight” alum said. “Now imagine everyone is in their underwear and everyone’s peeing all the time.”

“You know they’re peeing, everyone knows they’re peeing, people are having conversations and just peeing,” ranted Corden.

Sadly, his water park woes didn’t end there.

“So I haven’t been to a water park since I was like 12 years old,” Corden continued adding that his last memories of going to one was an “amazing thing to do that this is a great place for have fun.”

The “Carpool Karaoke” alum revealed that his distaste for water parks also stems from his body image issues.

“I am, let’s be generous, a larger man,” the “Into the Woods” actor states. “When you’re a bigger man, you’ve got a real choice to make a water park.”

“Do I just go trunks and let it all hang out?” the actor wondered. “Or, I chose to do what I think a lot of fat men do, which is go with this sort of rash vest.”

“When was the last time you went to a water park,” Corden, 45, questioned Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on the latter’s talk show.

According to the “Trolls” star, the vest is used to “protect himself from the UV rays.”

“You’re like this sort of sausage that’s been rolled into this thing,” Corden explained.

“Every lump, every bump is showing,” he went on. “You’re disgusted in yourself and you can’t move and then you think, ‘Now I’m going to throw myself down a tube.’”

“That is not true, Jimmy,” he said prompting the studio audience and Fallon to burst out laughing.”The only way I can describe it if you haven’t been in 20 or 30 years is it’s like you’re at Disney World, right? But everyone’s in their underwear.” yelantsevv – stock.adobe.com

Coren finished off the story by circling back to an earlier question posed by the “Almost Famous” star.

“If you’re asking me was there a moment where I missed the show, it was standing in this tight thing, covered in water, everyone’s peeing,” Corden said. “I’m holding a half-eaten hotdog of my daughter’s and a man walks past and goes, ‘Are you the guy that used to sing in the car with people?’”

“It’s actually made me go to quite a dark place,” proclaimed the “Prom” actor.

Corden’s slippery tale came after the actor revealed that relocating from L.A. back to England was “hard” and “overwhelming” after he wrapped the “Late Late Show.”

“It’s been brilliant, and hard, and overwhelming. I think moving house is hard enough, moving children, moving schools — picking it up and going so far, from everything they knew from life in Los Angeles — it’s been a real challenge,” he admitted on the “Today” show on the same day. “It’s been tough. But at the same time, immensely rewarding…You’re only as happy as your least happy child.”

The CBS talk show ran for eight seasons from 2015 to 2023. He officially stepped down from the gig in April 2023 and after more than 1,000 episodes.

“We wanted them to know their grandparents,” he added of him and his wife, Julia Carey. “And with my son finishing 6th grade, it was just an absolute pull to go home, and root that period of their lives in — we wanted them to know Britain, and their extended family.”
